She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nugent and Thelma Nugent; her husband Walter Verdenburgh Sr.; her son Robert Verdenburgh; and her siblings, Thelma Stephenson, Donald, Tom and William Nugent.
She is survived by: her children, Walter H. Verdenburgh Jr., Glen Verdenburgh (Cherie) and Brenda Miller (Anthony); her grandchild Georganna Johnson (Jarrod); her children, Cassandra Miller, Anthony J. Miller Jr. and Autum Verdenburgh (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Ny'riah and Naomi Johnson.
