He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Dadey and Elizabeth Dadey (Given); his brother Albert A. Dadey, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Stephen J. and Delores E. Prebehalla; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret "Peg" Dadey, Pamalyn Prebehalla, Lawrence Haggerty and Stephen E. Prebehalla.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Dadey (Prebehalla); his sons, Jason (Alicia) and Michael Dadey (Rhiannon); his grandchildren, Samuel, Matthew, Gage, Kolton and Kaylyn; his siblings, Beatrice Ann Haggerty and Thomas C. Dadey of Johnstown; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia "Kim" Dadey, Delores "Kim" Frieben (James) and Pam Prebehalla. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
