With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Kauffman of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Joan, born on September 19, 1931, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Robertson and Sara Robertson (Ober); her husband H. Zane Kauffman; her daughter Janice Sabatino; her brother Leo; and her son-in-law Edward Walk.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Walk, Ronald, Gary (Jennifer Skelton) and Jill (Daniel McClurkin); her son-in-law Marttin Sabatino; and her sister Helen (Robert Rosage). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery (801 Millcreek Rd, Johnstown, PA 15905). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the John Henderson Company Funeral Home (215 Central Ave, Johnstown, PA 15902).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnstown Symphony Orchestra.
