He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Doering, Christine Powell (John), Jacqueline Dixon (Richard), Lorraine Scott (Don), Sharon Bevis (Hugh) and Carolyn Leventry (Dave); his stepchildren, Harry D. Bennear and Ruth Ann Bennear-Summers; his sister Alice Hughes; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Pyle (Nees). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren.
