It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Kern (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, John Edward shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Edward farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Edward "Eb" Kern and Anna Kern (Campbell). He is survived by: his wife Jean Kern (Paolillo); his children, Michael Kern (Beth), Genevieve, Elise and Anne Romesberg (Matt); his grandson Matthew (Hannah Timcik); and his daughter Trinity (Marcus Douglas).
