John R. Sloan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Sloan of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. and Mary C. Sloan; and his siblings, Dorothy Dailey, Joseph Sloan (Bud) and Eileen Irwin.

He is survived by: his children, Janet (Ken Allen), Patricia, Joseph (Ellen Sloan) and Michael (Lisa Sloan); his grandchildren, Lt. Cmdr Jack Sloan, Dave Sloan, Mary Ardrey (Ben Ardrey), Joe Sloan, Matt Sloan, Zach Taylor and Rob Sloan; his great grandchild Evelyn Sloan; and his wife Esther. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great- nieces & nephews.
