He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph James and Helen Julia Bunk (Cramer); his sisters, Helen Husar and Annie Myers; his niece Nadine; and his nephew Mark.

He is survived by: his wife Kitty Pullen; and his sister Peggy Smith. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
