He is survived by: his wife Diane; his son Joseph J. Cieslo; his daughter-in-law Candace; his grandchildren, Zachary, Charlize and Max of Florida; and his sister Roberta Buchko of Johnstown.
Until the last few years of COVID, and slowing down a bit due to age, he and his wife enjoyed being "out and about" together throughout their marriage.
