He was predeceased by: his parents, James Scaife and Effie Mae Miller (Walters); and his siblings, James Scaife, Morgan "Tone" Roush, Darlene Miller and Patricia Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Scaife (Gorchesky); his children, Michelle and Joseph; and his sister Laura Miller Steen. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews.
