She was predeceased by: her parents, John Koba and Catherine Koba; her husband Conrad Helsel; her son Glenn Helsel; and her siblings, Olga, Metro, Walter and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah (Paul Singel), Gary (Karin) and Brian (Tammy); her grandchildren, Marissa, Cody (Haley), Sydney, Stephanie, Colin and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Xander, Jax and Layla; her daughter-in-law Kathleen (Fred Turnbull); her sister Ann (Ivan Dornic); her niece Katrina Fedinatz; and her pets, Dolce and Peppy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to either the Cambria County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital, in memory of Julia.
