She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Thomas Jordan and Blanche Jordan (Skelly); her brother Timothy Jordan; and her friend Natalie Ofsanko. She is survived by: her husband Michael V. McGowan; her children, Wendy (McGowan), Weller (Martin), Michael J. McGowan (Kelly McAneny), Jennifer (McGowan) and Poborski (David); her grandchildren, Sarah, Leah Weller, Brett, Connor McGowan, Tanner, Koltin Poborski and Corey Authier; her nephews, Todd (Cathie) and Ryan Jordan (Marsha); her sister-in-law Sharon Jordan; and her friend John.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hindman Funeral Home (1521 Frankstown Rd, Johnstown, PA 15902). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hindman Funeral Homes (1521 Frankstown Rd, Johnstown, PA 15902).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center in memory of Karen as a breast cancer survivor.
