He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Parks and Alice Parks (Malee); and his siblings, John Parks, Pat Thomas and Joanne Walls.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Parks (Yurasek); his son J., Jr. (Christine); his grandchildren, Dr. Ashley Swartz and Kenneth J. Parks, III; his great grandchildren, Cecil, Eisley, Emeric, Nola, Eeris and Alice; and his sisters, Theresa Nugent and Louise Dadura.
