He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Shaffer, Sr. and Gladys E. Shaffer (Harr); his brother Ralph E. Shaffer, Jr.; and his friend Craig Faulkner. He is survived by: his children, Larry W. Shaffer, Jr. and Samantha J. Shaffer; his sister-in-law Jeanine Shaffer (Krivanek); and his former wife Brenda Shaffer (Carroll). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
