It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Sterner (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), born in Jerome, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sterner and Evalene Sterner (Weimer); and his brothers, Donald, Dean and Paul Sterner.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly "Bev" Sterner (Kessler) of Johnstown; his children, Steven Sterner (Elizabeth) of Florida, Kenneth Sterner of Montana, Cheryl Wardle (William) of Pennsylvania, Addie King (Dustin) of Utah and Darlene Sterner of California; his grandson Sebastian King; and his siblings, Zola Borosky, Gary Sterner and Lois Bogardus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
