He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard H. Lee and Virginia Alcora Lee (Carson); his wife Sandra Z. Lee (Schaeffer); his children, Andrew (Carol) and Martha (Douglas Mackay); and his grandchildren, Robert Lee, Ryan Lee, John, Parijat Mackay, Emily and Dylan King. He was also cherished by his four brothers.
