He was predeceased by: his parents, Linton O. Hochstein and Jennie June Hochstein (Rager); his wife Verna Kay Hochstein (Bungard); and his sister Irene Bassett. He is survived by: his brother Bruce Hochstein; his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Nischalke (Edward) and Lonnie Bungard; his nephews, Christopher Nischalke and Ryan Bungard; his niece Lauren Bungard; and his close friend Jay Carney.
