She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Vorhauer and Ellen Vorhauer (Brendle); her husband Alvin; her siblings, John, George, Jeannette Vorhauer and Eleanor Bombach; and her daughter-in-law Courtney Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her children, David A. (Theresa), Linda Kuzminsky (Jim), John M. (Deborah), Richard L. (Susan) and Michael D. Shoemaker; and her sister Kathryn G. Deetscreek. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren. 15 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betts' memory may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
