With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Mathias of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 23, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kasmir Pacanowski and Mary Pacanowski (Starziski); her husband Wilbur Mathias; and her siblings, George, Helen, Richard, Edward (Kathryn), Ernest (Betty), Frederick, Agnes Dixon (Allen), Mary Ann Sigel and Betty Shock (James).
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Bill Sigel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Marge to Concordia at Arbutus Park Benevolent Fund at 207 Ottawa Street, Johnstown, PA 15904 or Mass donations.
