It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Lavely of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Martin; her husband Donald R. Lavely; her son Michael D. Lavely; and her siblings, Robert, Michael, Edward, Jacqueline and Kathryn.

She is survived by: her daughter Susan A. Lavely (Scott Dressick); her grandchildren, Brenden Lavely, Nicholas Dressick, Ariana Dressick, Morgan Porter (Matthew) and Austin Dressick; her great grandchildren, Bowen, Rhett and Macie; her sister Christine Roseman; and her pet Kirby. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St Jude Children's Hospital in honor of Marilyn.
