She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis E. Thomas and Elfrieda S. Thomas (Stadtmiller); her husband John P. Safko; her grandson John E. Safko; and her sister Maxine Caufiel.
She is survived by: her sons, John D. (Jean Leventry) and Gregory E. (Kim Struble); her grandchildren, Faith Safko, Hope Safko, Evan Gretok, David L. Struble Jr., Meghan Evans and Emily Partsch (Chenowith); and her great grandchildren, Eve Evans, CiCi, Alice, Fiona, Johnathan, Courtlynn and Austin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
