With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Jo Shaffer (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Marilyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Marilyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Shaffer and Julia Shaffer (Selan). She is survived by: her sisters, Shirley Rice (Ronald) and Linda Del Signore (Joey) of Johnstown; her nieces, Juliet Slaby (Ryan) and Amanda Del Signore; and her great-niece Olivia.
