She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hagerich and Ethel Hagerich (Gillen); her husband Harold "Butts" Gillespie; her siblings, Robert, Paul, Glenn, Rodney, Faye, Helen and Mary Lou; and her son-in-law Harry Bowers.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Bowers, Timothy Gillespie, Dennis Gillespie (Linda) and Margaret Ochenrider (Donald); her grandchildren, Tammy Caldwell (George), Patty, Heather Bowers, Julie Mazer (Timothy), Jaime Parsons (Bryan), Jackie Gillespie, Michele Brown (Darren), Melissa Stoltz (Scott), Amanda Twardy (Jason), Megan Greene (Bryant) and Donnie Ochenrider (Darla); and her siblings, Sara Jane Leckey, David Hagerich (Janet), Larry Hagerich (Sherry) and Wanda Elliott (Ron). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be directed to the Vinco Brethren Church in her memory.
