With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle A. Fetzer (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 27, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle A. Fetzer Sr. and Florence Fetzer (Cohick); his wife Shirley A. Fetzer (Mickle); and his siblings, Shirley Lee, Richard Fetzer, Gary Fetzer and Lanny Fetzer.
He is survived by: his children, Merle Fetzer (Victoria) of East Petersburg, PA, Susan Seese, Douglas Fetzer of Denver, CO, Brenda Fetzer of Akron, PA, Donna Fetzer of Ephrata, PA, Linda Keifline of Cumming, GA and David Fetzer (Cynthia); and his brother Darwin Fetzer (Terri). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests donations to Arbutus Manor Retirement Community, 207 Ottawa St., Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Merle A. Fetzer.
