Mildred Povich Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Povich of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Smith and Anna Smith (Kral); her children, Danny and Pam Koch (Dan); and her siblings, Betty Lou, Genevieve Macy (Daniel), Evelyn Smith, Anna Marie Pfeil (Leroy), Stephen, Clement (Judy) and Donald Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick (Sue) and Mark Povich (Marilyn); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Rahmani (Shahin), Rick Povich (Meghan), Rebecca Koch, Bradley Koch (Kirsten), Naomi Yazzie (Alonzo) and Ranee Deechilly; her great grandchildren, Leili, Ilya, Parsa Rahmani and Eloise Povich; her grandson Graham Povich; and her son-in-law Dan Koch (Cyndi). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel (1622 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15905). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Clement Catholic Church (114 Lindberg Ave, Johnstown, PA 15905).
