It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Percy A. McCleester Jr. (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy A. Sr. McCleester and Agnes McCleester (Schellhammer); his wife Ella Jane McCleester (Haer); his stepmother Helen Phenicie; his grandson Aaron; his great great grandchild Bennett; and his sisters, Vera Mae Gaylor (Jakie) and Anna Marie McCleester.
He is survived by: his children, Percy A. III, Terry, Mark (late JoAnne Makin), Pamela (late Jake Schmadel), Ronald (JoAnn Motak), Linda (Larry Calhoun), James (Michelle Rummel) and Barbara (Raymond Heptner Jr.); and his sibling Glenn McCleester (Barb Wilson). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
