With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis I. Pfuhl (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Meyer and Bernadine Meyer; her husband Herbert Pfuhl Jr.; her brother-in-law Paul Pfuhl; her daughter Barbara Regula (James J. Regula); and her sister Jeanne Suarez.
She is survived by: her children, Debra (J. Mark Schoming) of Greensburg, PA, Herbert, III, Glenda (Warfel) of Halifax, PA, Paula (Michael Urban) of Estero, FL and Dawna (Terry Benner) of Fort Myers, FL.; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Ryan, Lori, Jessica, Megan, Herb, Errick, Kaitlin, Allison, Ashley, Carrie, Jason, Danielle, Heather, Eric and Camryn; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Michael, Olivia, Matthew, Taylor, Emerson and Brevyn; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Pfuhl of Johnstown, PA and Eleanor Shumaker of Arvada, CO. She is also survived by five nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home (500 Cherry Ln, Johnstown, PA 15904). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
