She was predeceased by: her grandmother Frances Marie Stephens; and her uncle Reginald Stephens. She is survived by: her parents, Lonnie Bush and Marie Stephens; her sons, Malachi and Macale Bittner; her brother Mallie Stephens (Misty); her nieces, Maranda, Mariah and Macee Stephens; and her aunt Stephanie Stephens-Howling.

She was involved in local cancer survivor groups and was a part of the LivRed Foundation.
