He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Culp and Esther Culp (Miller); and his brothers, Theodore, David and Thomas.

He is survived by: his stepmother Mary Francis Culp; his wife Norma Jean (Dietz); his children, Vicki Hershberger, Sheri Mehalco (Peter), Wendi Millick (John) and Robert Culp (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Ashley (Michael Kozak), Shana (Zac Long), Mathew (Shayla Houts), Alaina, Aiden and Adelynn; his great grandchildren, Emma, Gabriel, John and Elias; his sister Nancy Cale; and his sister-in-law Nancy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
