He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Delusa and Margaret Delusa (Varner); his wife Joan (Johncola); his son Robert Jr.; his grandson John Robert Gornick; and his siblings, Nunzio "Jumbo", Eugene, Charles, Alfred, Richard, Donald, Mary Jane Dunlap and Shirley Bates.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Rhonda) of South Carolina, Mary Ann (John Gornick) of South Carolina and Gina (Michael Vitalie); his grandchildren, Joanna Sparks (Kyle), Antonio Vitalie (Maygan), Michael Mattison Delusa, Giovanni Vitalie and Mattie Mychaels (Alex); his great grandchildren, Addalynn, Aubriella Vitalie and Emma Sparks; his siblings, William Delusa (Connie) and Camille Jimerson; and his sisters-in-law, Grace Delusa Gorman and Mary Delusa.
