He is survived by: his wife Maria Sanders (Petro); his son Stephen Sanders; his brother Richard Sanders (Linda); his father-in-law Francis E. "Frank" Petro; and his siblings-in-law, Catherine Barnes (Douglas), Francis Petro Jr. (Lynne) and Stephen Petro (Caroline). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
