He was predeceased by: his father Clifton Covalt; and his siblings, James Covalt and Deloris Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Covalt (Bloom); and his children, Ronald Covalt Jr. (Anne), Tom Covalt (Tina) and Rhonda Lynn. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
