It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald G. Poprich Sr. (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Poprich and Hazel E. Poprich (Carl); his wife Sylvia J.; his son Samuel Ronald; and his sister Charlotte Townsend.

He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie J. Johnson (Robert); his grandsons, Tyler of East Conemaugh and Cody Johnson of East Conemaugh; his siblings, Ken Poprich of Rootstown, OH, Dorothy D. "Dot" Trexler and Sandy L. Ream; his niece Angi Weir (Jeff); and his pet Holly Noelle.

The family suggests contributions be directed to Franklin Volunteer Fire Company, 1125 Main Street, Johnstown, PA 15909 in memory of Ronald.
