She was predeceased by : her father Sam Smith; her siblings, Sue, Lyle and Jeff; her parents-in-law, Edward Swope and Ada Swope; and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn, Rose Ann and Terry.

She is survived by : her mother Blanche Smith; her husband Edward "Edna" Swope; her son Shawn; her grandchildren, Austin, Cheyenne and Paige; her siblings, Lila, Darlene, April (Mike), Donald and Wess; her stepmother-in-law Margaret; her siblings-in-law, Janice, Debi, Sally, Donna, Judy (Dave), Beth Ann, Regina (Mike), Edward (Jess) and Mark (Barbara); and her caregivers, Patty, Jill and Claudia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
