It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sophie Martich of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 101, on July 19, 2022. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Jean and Nancy Berkey (Rodney); her grandchildren, Jason, Alexis Gies and Anna Marie Akhand (Moinul); and her great grandchildren, Parker, Brody Gies, Nastasja Banks, Ariane and Ian Akhand.

We will miss her at our end of the street. we know her favorite charity was Saturday's Kitchen. We will send a donation to help feed the less needy on her behalf.
