It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Varmecky (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), born in Windber, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Konieczny and Antonia Konieczny (Cebula); her husband William Varmecky; her sisters, Helen Smulski and Virginia Youchak (Jean); and her son-in-law Thomas Repak.
She is survived by: her children, William Varmecky III (Gail) of Virginia Beach and Cecelia Repak (Mike Chockla) of Derry, PA; her grandchildren, Thomas Repak (Dawn), Amanda Boring (Mat), Kristy Thiel, Robbye and William Joseph Varmecky III; her great grandchildren, Regan, Madison, Alayna, Kylee, Lee, Dominick, Sydney, Thaddeus, Lillian and Ryann; her sister Teresa Dluhos; her sister-in-law Jeannie Delic; and her extended family, Adrienne Fleming, Heather Coleman (Adam) and Stephen Fleming. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, and cousins.
