He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Murgas Sr. and Magdalene (Haluska); his wife Mary Jo Murgas; his former wife Mary Agnes Murgas; his grandson Brendan Cleary; his siblings, Madlyn (Eddie Trzeciak), Rosemary (Bob Kates), Cecilia (Harry Roy), Raymond Murgas, Robert Murgas and Paul Murgas; Stephen Murgas III.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Cleary, Victoria Murgas of Johnstown, PA and Jacqueline Borman (Bill) of Langhorne, PA.; his granddaughters, Kaitlin, Meghan Cleary, Camryn and Addison Borman; his daughter-in-law Karen Murgas of Apopka; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Murgas (Robert), Marylou Murgas (Raymond) and Cheryl Murgas (Paul).
