He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Sanders and Mary Sanders (Boring); his wife Elizabeth Sanders (Delso); his siblings, Lester, Pete, Janet and Bonnie; and his daughter-in-law Ronda Sanders.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas Jr. Sanders (Joelle), Yvonne Hollern (Keith), Robbin Wilson (Scott) and Roberta (John Cascino); his grandchildren, Ashley, Raeann, McKinley, Cameron, Kaylee, Somerlyn and Johnny; his great grandchildren, Kendal, Adeline, Vivian, Miles, Wilson, Ian and Brayden; and his brother Forest (Wade). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
