He is survived by: his children, Thomas Shugars, Danielle Russell (Daniel), Edana Glessner (David) and James Shugars; his grandchildren, Aidan Shugars, Ian Shugars (Alexandra Williamson), Sarah, Jacob and Tommy Russell; and his sister Lillian Shearer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers but can make donations however they choose.
