Vera Marie Penrod Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Marie Penrod (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), born in Asbury Park, New Jersey, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis J. Farmer and Vera M. Farmer (O'Connor); her husband Jack E. Penrod; her siblings, Mary E. (Edward Etoll) and Robert J. (Joan Farmer); her niece Sheila Etoll; and her nephew William Mallinson.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Penrod (Eric Wallar) of New York City, NY, John Penrod (George Hanna) of Princeton, NJ and Nancy Forrest (Ron Forrest) of Princeton Junction, NJ.; her grandchildren, Joshua Forrest, John Wallar, Samantha Forrest and Anne Wallar; and her nieces and nephews, Marybeth Young, Kathleen Etoll Shanley, Robert Farmer, Susan Dabbar, Edward Etoll, Joan Maderious, Bryan Etoll and Mary Anne Marchl.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Arts Center of Cambria County at caccc.org or Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, in memory of Vera M. Penrod.
