It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Trotz of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Trotz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Trotz and Leon Trotz; his fiancée Tara Burkey; his siblings, Nancy Claar and Thomas Trotz; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Trotz and Gary Schilling.

He is survived by: his daughters, Abbi (Kevin Schrock) and Lauren (Eric Tillman); his grandchildren, Ethan Tillman and Lydia Tillman; his siblings, Patty Schilling of Nanty Glo, Robert Trotz of Johnstown, Carol Audey (George) of Johnstown and Sharon Kusher (Rudy) of Boynton Beach, Florida; and his brother-in-law Larry Claar of Windber. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He always had a smile to share, a compliment to give & a heart as big as anyone I have ever known. Exchanging wit and sarcasm with him was one of the highlights of my day!
