She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Stephen and Anna Stephen; her husband Joseph Purcell; her son Gary Purcell; her great grandchild Hudson Roehl; and her siblings, Betty Burke (Thomas), Robert "Cobbs" Stephen, Joseph Stephen, Jim Stephen, Vincent Stephen (Carol) and Mary Canfield (Joseph).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Pytko (Bernard), Theresa Michels (Nick), Joseph Purcell (Nanette), Kenneth Purcell, Ed Purcell (Amy), Phoenix Park, Anita Sternick (Jerry) and Black Heath; her daughter-in-law Donna Purcell (Primrose); her grandchildren, Jaclyn, Lauren, Kara, Alycia, Amy, Christopher, Ryan, Amanda, Joseph, Clare, Leah, Chad, Kayleigh and Caitlin; her great grandchildren, Isobel, Lincoln, Faith, Lydia, Dustin, Bryce, Cora and Ella; her sibling Francis "Cisco" Stephen (Mary Ann); and her sisters-in-law, Joanne Stephen, Peg Stephen and Heckscherville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Holy Family Parish, 538 Sunbury Street, Minersville.
