He was predeceased by: his father Ralph; his wife Janice Petruney; his brothers, Larry and Gary Bush; and his nieces, Debi Larson and Patty Petruney.

He is survived by: his children, Toni Smith of Erie and Mike Bush of Erie; his grandchildren, Hannah Baglia, Madison Smith and Christopher Smith; his great grandchildren, Noah Brown, Liam Baglia and Aria Baglia; his nieces, Shelly Petruney, Sherry Vetter, Kathy Piroch, Nanette Szopo, Terri Bifano and Kelly Zampogna; and his nephew David Bush.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
