She was predeceased by: her son David Thayer Heald; her parents, Charles Muchmore Thayer and Elizabeth Fracker Thayer; and her sister Patricia Thayer Cash (Richard Thomas Heald). She is survived by: her husband Richard Heald (Dick); her children, Susan Carol Heald (Michael Brehl) and Steven Thomas Heald; her granddaughters, Roslyn Jade Heald Brehl, Rebecca Beatrice Brehl and Olivia Elizabeth Heald; and her brother Charles Fracker Thayer (Chuck).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Longwood (1109 E Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA 19348). She was ringing bells until the COVID pandemic hit.
