Douglas R. Cranage Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2025, at the age of 82, Douglas R. Cranage of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Douglas R. Cranage to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Cranage and Anne Cranage; and his wife Doris R. Cranage. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Hickey of Kennett Square; his daughters, Diana Fongheiser (Jim) of West Chester, PA and Beth Murray (Struan) of Middletown, DE.; and his grandchildren, Janet, Paul, Pierce and Dayne.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Presbyterian Church (316 Kennett Pike, Kennett Square, PA 19317). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the The Mendenhall Inn (323 Kennett Pike, Chadds Ford, PA 19317).
In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Breakthrough T1D, formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
