He was predeceased by: his wife Margarita León Soria; and his parents, Pedro Nuñez and Gracia Medina. He is survived by: his children, Pedro Nuñez, Carlos Nuñez, Silvia Nuñez, José Carmen Nuñez, Guadalupe Nuñez, Juan Nuñez, Miguel Nuñez, Rosa Nuñez and María Nuñez. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
