Walter Paynter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Paynter of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Walter farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Walter is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Paynter and Marian Paynter; and his grandson Eric Paynter. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Spencer Paynter; his sister Myrna Fridy (Jere) of West Grove, PA; and his sons, Lee Paynter (Joan Sacks) of Atglen, PA and Glenn Paynter (Susan) of Pittsford, NY.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the Jenner's Pond Employee Scholarship Fund. Checks may be written to "Simpson Foundation" with "JPESF in memory of Walt Paynter" on the memo line.
