He was predeceased by: his parents, John J., Sr. and Melva Lockyer Hand; his siblings, Dorothy Place, Mildred Shaffer, Virginia Stitt, Betty Siviak and James Hand; and his great grandchild Leeland.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Celinski; his children, Carol Hand of Florida, Brenda Short (Michael) of Kentucky, Kenneth Hand (Pam) of Penfield and Phil Hand of Kersey; and his sister Melva Hollepeter of St. Marys. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 grand fur babies.
