He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Ginther and Julia Wolf Ginther; his wife Mildred Anders; his son Randolf Ginther; his grandson Melvin Shaw Jr.; and his siblings, Anita Krellner, Vera Flynn, Mary Ginther, Alvin, Leander, Earl and Gervase Ginther.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Hepler (Jack) of Ridgway, Bernice Bobenreith (Anthony) of Toby, Joyce Young of Kersey, Bonnie Stover (James) of Kersey, Connie Ginther of Toby, Karen McMillen (Daniel) of St. Marys, Floyd Ginther of Kersey, Carl Ginther (Susan) of Ridgway and Glenn Ginther of Dagus Mines; and his brother Dr. Oliver Ginther (Jane) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
