He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Johnston, Sr. and Margaret Baker Johnston; his daughter Kim Wolf; his great grandchild Madalena Mann; and his brother Randy Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Ruth Johnston; his children, Eric Johnston (Anita) of State College, Justin Himes (Elaina) of Kersey and Julie Bush (Bob) of Falls Creek; and his brothers, Larry Johnston (Sally) of New Castle and Tim Johnston (Billie) of Wampum. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
