He was predeceased by: his son Michael; and his parents, Gilbert Auer and Katherine Auer. He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Ann O'Rourke (John); his granddaughter Kristen; his sister Patricia Watterson (late William); and his nephew William Watterson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc. (3552 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the North Side Catholic Cemetery (204 Cemetery Ln, Pittsburgh, PA 15237).
